Stoney Mesa Winery Riesling 2004 (Colorado)
Price - $9.49 Size - 750 mL - New World Wine Tasting held on Monday July 25, 2005 at the Powers Liquor Mart in Colorado Springs with Will Gillum.
This is probably the fifth time this summer that we have this one. Definitely a favorite of the Mrs. El Catavinos. It has an almost clear gold color with medium weight legs. Has a nice riesling nose with some hints of earth and the slightest hint of petrol. Fruity sweet and refreshing. Easy and fun to drink. Very refreshing for the summer. Has a nice finish with hints of peaches on the end. Would pair well with fruit, cobbler, alfredo pasta or vanilla cake. For more information visit Stoney Mesa Vineyards website. Grade: B+
